After months of planning and organising, today we attended the first site visit for our new office, which is currently being fully renovated just for us. Coasties have been involved every step of the way – voting in polls for their preferred paint colour, glass and even bathroom tiles…
Whilst working from home has its perks, multiple lockdowns have made us appreciate face-to-face time with colleagues. The new office will make the most of this new world of work by prioritising spaces for collaboration and hybrid working.
Room to grow
As much as we have loved our time in the current office, our new office gives us plenty of space to grow and is conveniently located in the centre of historic Colchester. No longer will our lunch options be limited to a supermarket and (our beloved) lunch truck. We’ll also only be a ten-minute walk from the mainline train station.
The last few months have been spent packing, cleaning, and throwing out 20 years’ worth of clutter. With only a month to go until we move in, it was reassuring to see such amazing progress and to see our plans coming together in real life. We can’t wait to share photos of the final result (and the inevitable office-warming party)!
