Cashing in on Checking In – Quidco and Halfords, Carphone Warehouse & New Look

It’s a Saturday morning and I’m going through my emails only to find yet another clever marketing angle.

Being a member of Quidco, the online (or so I thought) cashback and voucher website, first I was impressed to see some time ago that they’d negotiated deals whereby as long as your credit card was registered with certain stores, just using it in-store would get you cashback. As a thought, B2B companies could also use this approach; it’s extremely cheap marketing for brand awareness after all, is it not?! They could always use a charity donation option if the view of cashback to an individual did not sit well within this arena.

Can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
