Online shopping sales up 106% on same time in 2006

The IMRG (Interactive Media in Retail Group) have revealed that today – Monday 10 December – is likely to be the busiest online shopping day in the run up to Christmas.

In a striking prediction the IMRG state that online sales are likely to be three times higher than at this time last year.

Overall, the peak time for sales will be between 11am and midday with an incredible £32.4m likely to be spent, with total sales for the day expected to hit £370m.
