In another sign that the traditional publishing world is fully embracing digital marketing, Future plc has appointed Trinity Mirror executive Jessica Healy as its brand new head of search, affiliate and social media.
At the same time, the group has promoted digital marketing executive James Morrell to affiliate manager and is now looking for a search marketing manager to complete its team.
The move is part of Future's strategy to address falling revenues, and to revitalise interest in its stable of titles, which includes magazines such as PC Gamer, Digital Camera, Cycling Plus and Your Family Tree. It also follows on the heels of book publisher Penguin's appointment of a digital sales team, whilst making 100 other staff redundant.
Future plc is a huge publisher, claiming 25 million unique monthly visitors to its website. However, other media firms are also able to benefit from the revolution in digital marketing by drawing on the expertise of companies like Coast Digital. Contact us today to find out how we can help.
