Sapna Balgobin
Sapna is an online marketing executive; she works with Coast Digital clients to develop their online PR strategy. Sapna brings a fresh and hugely enthusiastic approach to this rapidly developing area.
She believes online PR creates a huge marketing opportunity; offering the freedom to be creative and flexible. She is keen to exploit the transparency of online communications to enable organizations to get closer to their customers. Sapna loves online PR because she loves change.
Sapna has considerable experience in marketing. Upon leaving university she began her career with Swish as an event marketer, following this with several years client-side at Virgin Trains, where she worked with the new product development team and other departments. Over this time she developed a general understanding of clients’ needs, which she describes as an insightful experience.
Sapna joined Coast Digital in spring 2007. She absolutely adores her job and is enjoying learning and supporting our clients. She’s undertaken consultancy work with Slendertone and Wiltshire Farm Foods, amongst others, building strong relationships along the way. She’s currently working with a range of clients including Waterscape, Baldwins, Karndean and the Food Doctor.
Sapna is passionate about encouraging clients to exceed their customers’ expectations. She firmly believes that online marketing communications can facilitate one-to-one interactions between customers and brands. She’s also keen to ensure integration between online and offline activity.
Sapna enjoys all the different dimensions of marketing from research and global trend analysis, exploration, communication, to implementation and promotion.
Sapna has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester, together with a Masters in Marketing. She confesses to being an online social network party animal, currently addicted to Facebook.
