James Frost
In April 2002 James Frost re-mortgaged his home to start Coast Digital. Originally concentrating on web design and build, the company has since become a full service agency offering a comprehensive range of online marketing solutions; ranked by New Media Age as one of the UK’s Top 100 Interactive Agencies.
During summer 2007 James took Coast Digital to the next level with the launch of a new website and a brand refresh. James commented: “The re-brand represented a new chapter, with our website clearly conveying the team’s commitment to delivering tangible results through our promise of marketing you can measure.”
The look and feel of the brand is indicative of James’ strategic vision for Coast Digital, as the business goes from strength-to-strength with recent clients wins including Office Shoes and Swatch.
James began his career in media over 20 years ago in sales for the Essex Chronicle Series, part of the Northcliffe Newspaper Group. During his time at the Chronicle he held several positions including Classified Advertising Manager for the Gazette Series.
In the early ‘90’s he moved into information technology sales, working for a large systems integrator, where he was an account manager in the finance sector dealing with clients such as Deutsche Bank.
James has been involved with the internet for over 10 years now. In the late 90's he was responsible for the design and project management of an award winning e-commerce implementation for Basilica Computing, a large IT reseller. The system is still used today and has spearheaded the growth of the company over the past 7 years.
A clear strategic thinker, James describes his leadership style as inclusive. He is truly part of the team at Coast Digital, and has created a relaxed and friendly working environment. All the staff share his passion to deliver great results.
