Interviews with overseas students from a local university were deemed key to understanding user motivations and how they interacted with the Malmo website.
Expert reviews were also conducted to evaluate the sitemap, navigation schema, website messaging and social media presence.
Over the space of 3 weeks the review project was completed, with a suite of documents being delivered to the Malmö team.
Practical recommendations for improvement
The review pieces not only highlighted the issues, but provided recommendations for specific areas for improvement on the website and social media platforms.
Recommendations combined with the on and offline insight provided by the contextual interviews gave Malmö University the means to shape future strategy and achieve immediate goals.
